CHELMSFORD - ARU  Creative Forces events offer Service children the opportunity to engage with higher education through a day of activities at a university campus and to explore their identity as Service children with others from a similar background but different ages and schools. It is also an opportunity to build the capacity of schools to understand and support their Service children. 

Students will take part in: A university talk on the benefits of going to university Subject tasters Campus tour A chance to ask current university students questions. 

Who can attend: Any state-funded secondary school in Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and surrounding areas. Although Creative Forces Days are designed for Service Children (students from a military family) in Years 7 – 11, we encourage Service Children to bring a buddy to learn and experience the day too. 

If you have any questions about the day, please do get in touch with us. To register your school’s interest, please complete the following form by Monday 17 October. Students will receive a lunch voucher and travel costs will be reimbursed £20 per head.
