Introduction
We recognise that, as parents and carers, young people consider you to be the key influencer and main source for information about future choices. Research however, tells us that parents and carers often believe they have insufficient knowledge about their children's options and, what information they have received, often reaches them too late. Our virtual Parent and Carer Higher Education Open Day resources are designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to the world of Higher Education as you prepare to support your young person through the next stage of their journey. In this collection of free 'short but sweet' presentations and other resources we will introduce you to the world of Higher Education. We will show you how you can support your young person, or help you in applying for a place for yourself. Additional documents and guides can be found in the downloads section below.
