The Norfolk and Waveney Health and Care Academy - Health and Social Care Careers Discovery Event (King's Lynn) - Thursday 23 April 2026

Parents/carers and students are welcome to attend and meet Health & Social Care professionals to hear about a variety of career pathways, real-life experiences of working in the Health & Social Care sector, and learn about early career opportunities such as Apprenticeships and Work Experience.

Careers present as the events will include Allied Health Professions, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Healthcare Science.

The Health and Care Careers Discovery Events will be running in different locations across Norfolk and Waveney in April 2026, please see below details of where and when these will take place.

• Norwich – Enterprise Centre, University of East Anglia, Chancellors Drive, Norwich, NR4 7TJ - Saturday 18^th April | 10:30am – 12:30pm
• King’s Lynn – Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn, Endoscopy Unit - First Floor, Gayton Road, King's Lynn, Norfolk, PE30 4ET -Thursday 23^rd April | 5pm – 7pm
• Great Yarmouth – The Burrage Centre, James Paget University Hospital, Lowestoft Road, Gorleston-on-Sea, Great Yarmouth NR31 6LA - Saturday 25^th April | 10:30am – 12:30pm
